As a Junior or Experienced RF Engineer, you will be expected to have a strong foundation in wireless communication principles and a hands-on approach to learning. You will be supporting the engineering team and contributing to high-impact telecom infrastructure projects through surveying, designing, delivering, managing, and commissioning these wireless networks.
Required qualifications & skills;
- Academic background and practical exposure to RF system fundamentals, including GSM,
UMTS, LTE and 5G NR.
- A willingness to be on-site, work in diverse environments and venues and support with
installations, testing and commissioning under supervision.
- Eagerness to learn on the job, contribute meaningfully from day one while continuing to
develop through real-world engineering challenges, structured mentorship and exposure to
full project lifecycles.
- Clean full UK driving licence, ability to travel to our office in Milton Keynes and to attend sites
either accompanied by a third party or with another team member. Site attendance and
training takes place in the UK and in some instances across Europe.
- Good knowledge and understanding of maths and English speaking / writing.
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft programs, especially Word, Excel
and Visio.
Bonus skills (nice-to-have)
- Experience in designing DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), small cells and wireless
backhaul.
- Familiarity with iBwave or Ranplan for RF design and planning.
- A fascination with technology including artificial intelligence and automation.
